Leadership Matters

Learning to disagree better.

I introduced Parker Town Council to the Dignity Index because I believe how we disagree matters.

Public service can get heated. I've had moments when I wish I had chosen my words differently, and I'm not afraid to admit that.

To me, civility does not mean avoiding tough conversations or pretending we all agree.

Six years of voting, advocating and getting things done for Parker.

Public Safety

Keeping Parker safe as we grow.

Council funded additional police officers, restored the Traffic Unit, added K-9 teams, strengthened support for our 9-1-1 communications staff, and updated e-bike and micromobility rules as those issues became a bigger concern on Parker's streets and trails.

Traffic

We're finally getting somewhere.

Traffic isn't solved — but we've made real progress.

Chambers Road now connects Hess Road to Crowfoot Valley Road, creating another major north-south route through the Parker area.
Dransfeldt Road now extends across Cherry Creek, giving residents another way to move through the west side of Parker.

Fiscal Responsibility

Investing in Parker without piling on debt.

Parker completed its $35 million Town Hall expansion and renovation without taking on debt, using accumulated reserves and saving taxpayers millions in financing costs.

Thoughtful Growth

Planning for growth instead of reacting to it.

Town Council modernized Parker's Land Development Ordinance and adopted the Town's first new zoning map since incorporation, giving Parker better tools to guide development and plan for what comes next.

LINK ON DEMAND

More ways to get around without adding another car to the road.

Parker joined the regional Link On Demand network, connecting residents with Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock and other parts of northern Douglas County.

WHOLE FOODS

Another long-requested grocery option came to Parker.

Whole Foods opened its Parker location in 2025, giving residents another major shopping choice close to home.

KAISER PERMANENTE

More healthcare options right here in Parker.

A new, larger Kaiser Permanente medical office expanded local access to primary care, imaging, lab and pharmacy services.

ADVENTHEALTH PARKER

A major investment in local healthcare.

AdventHealth's $300 million expansion is adding a new seven-story tower and significantly increasing healthcare capacity in Parker.

SAFRAN DEFENSE & SPACE

New jobs. New investment.

Safran opened a new Parker-area facility, adding to Parker's growing aerospace and defense presence.

DOWNTOWN PARKER

More reasons to live, work and gather downtown.

Continued investment is bringing new retail, restaurants, housing and activity to Parker's historic core.

SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESS
